Het verborgen doel van God is het mysterie, en de onthulling van dit mysterie is openbaring. De bediening van de apostel was om deze openbaring uit te voeren voor het voortbrengen van de kerk.

God hidden purpose is the mystery, and the unveiling of this mystery is revelation. The appostle's ministry was to carry out this revelation for the producing of the church.

Of plannen. Het Griekse woord, oikonomia betekent huiszaal, beheer of administratie, plan, economie (zie noot 4-3 in 1Tim.1) Christus in de volheid van de tijd. Dit wordt bereikt door het uitdelen van de overvloedige levende toevoer van de Trouble God als de LEVENSfactor in alle leden van de kerk, zodat ze uit de zoeksituatie kunnen opstaan en aan het Lichaam kunnen worden gehecht.

Het Griekse woord betekent huishoudwet en duidt op verdeling (de basis van dit woord is van dezelfde oorsprong als dat voor weiland in Johannes 10:9, wat duidt op verdeling van het weiland om de kudde te verzorgen). Het duidt een huishouding aan, een huishoudingsbestuur, een huishoudregering, en afgeleid, een dispensatie, een plan of een economie in geloof is Zijn huishoudeconomie, Zijn huishoudbestuur (verdeling); daarom is het ook een huishoudelijke economie. Gods economie in geloof is Zijn huishoudeconomie. Zijn huishouding (vgl. noot 10-1 in Ef. 1; Ef. 3:9), dat is om Zichzelf in Christus uit te delen aan Zijn uitverkoren volk, opdat Hij een huis zal hebben om Zich uit te drukken, welk huis de kerk is (13 :15), het lichaam van Christus.

Or, plan. The Greek word, oikonomia means house hall, hold management or administration, plan, economy  (see note 4-3 in 1Tim.1) The economy that God, according to His disire, planner and purposed in Himself is to head up all things in Christ at the fullness of the times.This is accomplished through the dispensing of the abundant live supply of the Trouble God as the LIFE factor into alle the members of the church that they may rise up from the search situation and be attached to the Body.

The Greek  word means household law, implaying distribution (the base of this word is of the same origin as that for pasture in John 10:9, implaying a distribution of the pasture to dothe flock). It denotes a household management, a household administration, a household government, and derivatively, a dispensation, a plan, or an economy in faith is His household economy, His household administration (distribution); hence, it is also a household economy. God's economy in faith is His household economy. His household administration (cf. note 10-1 in Eph. 1; Eph. 3:9), which is to dispense Himself in Christ into His chosen people that He may have a house to express Himself, which house is the church (13:15), the Body of Christ.
