LOVEWORK
LABOR OF LOVE
Lovework presents:
The four values model
What is the meaning of your life?
What is a good life?
What is the meaning or value of your life?
When we ask people "the meaning of life" question, the answers vary between:
- life has no meaning
- our relationship with other people is the most important thing in life
- or Love is the meaning of life
When people are told they have a few months left to live,
- many will spend more time with their loved one.
- Others would still like to write a book
- or want to complete a work of art
But how do you make the best use of the time you have left?
So how do you make the most of your life?
Even if you don't know whether that life will be short or long?
everyone can only answer the question for themselves.
The answer to the question is personal and different for each person.
The answer depends on who answers this question.
The "four-value model" can help you determine the meaning of your own life.
Your answer to this question probably lies in a certain balance between 4 different values.
Depending on your dominant value, the emphasis you will want to place on different values throughout your life varies.

What is a good life?
For us, the criterion of a good life (labor of love) is that you look back on your life
and this afterwards and during that life
judged as a good life.
So you decide for yourself what a good life is for you.
It's subjective.
No one other than you decides whether you are suffering or have led a good life.
In addition, we all have (often implicit) criteria in our heads that form a kind of yardstick against which we measure and judge our own life or the life of someone else.
This measuring stick is not value-free.
It is influenced by
- upbringing
- the country and the world we live in
- our personality
- culture
- and training
And it is also strongly influenced by our dominant value from "the four values model"
The view of reality that is subjective
they call worldview.
